From 2027, students at King’s College School, The Bahamas will have the opportunity to pursue A-Levels—a globally prestigious pre-university programme that offers academic depth, flexibility, and a direct pathway to the world’s leading universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Stanford, and more.
A-Levels allow students to specialise in subjects they are passionate about, selecting typically three or in some cases four subjects to study in depth over a two-year period. Whether a student dreams of engineering, law, medicine, business, or the arts, the A-Level structure enables deeper focus than the same subject studied at AP or IB Diploma, whilst also allowing for academic exploration. Students may also choose to complete the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), a standalone research project that develops independent study skills and enhances university applications.
