As a basic principle, King’s College School actively encourages communication between school and parents and seeks to build a strong school community. We endeavour to involve parents fully in the education of their children and see this partnership as an essential aspect of our care for every individual.

Always In Touch

The school regularly shares information and updates on school life via a weekly newsletter and an active social media channel. It also organises ad hoc events to inform parents about, for example, the next stage of a child's education or the teaching of phonics.

Families are also informed about each student's progress via termly reports and parent-teacher consultation evenings. Most importantly, the school has an open-door policy so parents can meet with teachers and the Founding Principal at any time.

Finally, parents are empowered with the Global Study Platform, an online tool that provides them with live and continuous information on their child's progress. This ensures they stay informed and engaged in their child's educational journey, allowing them to track their child's development every step of the way.

Activities and Events

To build a wider sense of community, we regularly hold events at the school where students and families can get to know each other and the school staff in a more informal and fun environment. These range from school sports days, the annual school fair to artistic performances and shows.
